Claremont Folk Festival
Featuring Jackson Browne, Taj Mahal, and Ben Harper:
If you missed out on this year's installment of the
Claremont Folk Festival (like I did) then you should
probably be made aware of the awesomeness that abounded
there (like I was) so you can wish that you would have gone
(like I do). Anyway, I had the great opportunity to do a
poster again this year and I even have a few artist proofs
to offer for sale in case you missed them at the show (like
I did).The Swell
Season: You might recognize Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová
from the Oscar winning film Once. The Swell Season is their
band and they are super incredible. I saw the show firsthand
and I would not lie to you. The music is lovely, raw,
emotional and Glen happens to be a super funny dude. Liam O
Maonlai was the support and his performance was absolutely
incredible. It seems that Liam can channel Bob Dylan's
living ghost!

Minus The Bear: Traveling all the way from my beloved
Seattle, these guys stopped by In The Venue last night to
provide Salt Town with some good tunes. Check ou the poster
in the
posters section.

A Fine Frenzy: The poster for last night's show is now
available. If you haven't heard Alison Sudol's hauntingly
beautiful music yet... well you should get to it.
Louis XIV:
Greetings everybody, this is the first new poster of the
year for me after a long winter hibernation and sadly the
show it promoted was cancelled. The poster however remains.
If you are interested in a piece of "almost" history feel
free to check it out in the
posters section.
There
are a lot of exciting projects in the works at the moment so
keep checking back. You can also drop me a line if you want
to get on the mailing list.
HOODED WARMTH PROMOTING SHIRT
I have always thought that
the term "sweatshirt" was kind of unappealing. Sort of like
a "hair shirt" but more moist. That is why I have decided to
change the name.
These were previously only
available at Furturtle shows but now have a new home
here. Oh,
they are also much cheaper than they used to be. |
